Previous Years - Run Statistics

On September 7th at 1753 hrs the FMFD responded for a reported field fire in the 5000 blk of Gearhiser Rd. First units arriving reported large piles of tree trunks were on fire and spreading across the yard towards a structure. The fire extension was quickly stopped. An excavator was brought to the scene to help move the timber and crews were on scene for 3 hours extinguishing the remaining hot spots. Mutual aid was received from Battle Run Fire District and Elm Valley Fire District. It is believed an unattended, smoldering recreational fire was the cause.
